           Los Angeles–based director, writer, and editor whose work blends gritty realism with emotionally charged storytelling. Through his production company, Adjusted Perspective, he crafts films that explore fractured families, moral gray zones, and characters on the edge of survival.

 

            His feature Toy Guns, a moody family-crime thriller about two brothers caught in the shadow of their father’s arms-dealing legacy, premiered at the Burbank International Film Festival and is now seeking distribution. Other works include Midnight Sparrows, a dark 48-hour crime short, and Pee Eye, a wild action-comedy about ex-cellmates turned fake private investigators.

             With a background in trailer editing for top studios and years of experience in event and documentary-style filmmaking, Armbruster brings a cinematic eye to every project, balancing raw emotion with precise craft. Whether telling stories of violence and redemption or capturing intimate, authentic moments, his mission remains the same: to reveal truth through tension, humanity, and cinematic grit.
