          I’m Jake Thomas Armbruster, a freelance videographer and editor with years of hands-on experience shooting and editing cinematic, story-driven content. Working under JTA Films, I collaborate with brands, agencies, and creatives to bring ideas to life through intentional visuals and precise editing.

 

         Before focusing on freelancing, I spent a few years working as a professional trailer editor, crafting narrative-driven cuts that required sharp storytelling instincts, disciplined pacing, and a strong sense of tone. Influencing how I approach structure, rhythm, and emotional impact in every project.

 

         My experience as both a shooter and an editor allows me to see the full picture, from composition and lighting on set to pacing and clarity in post. I approach every project with a filmmaker’s mindset, focused on collaboration, efficiency, and delivering work that feels polished, elevated, and purposeful.
